Fažana can be experienced to the fullest in the harbor, at the waterfront, where alongside the boats and fishing nets a story about the art of fishing and fishermen's fortune is being cast. A walk to the small fishing museum, the Fažana fish market, the view of Brijuni from the promenades, a break on the bench whilst communicating with the waves... make up the images that will surely be remembered.

The Creator intended to shape a part of the Earth at the image of paradise. This is how Istria came to be, very much like a garden full of magnificent trees and vast meadows, washed by the deep blue sea, inviting people to a happier life. But the jealous devil destroyed His work by tearing up the bag in which the angel was carrying the unused stones, and thousands of rocks scattered around the Istrian land, a land of contrast and beauty.

Just like the rest of the region, Pula is known for its mild climate, calm warm waters and pristine nature. The city has a long tradition of winemaking, fishing, shipbuilding and tourism, and is a transit port. Pula has been Istria's administrative center since the Roman times. As a result of its rich political history, over 3000 years old, Pula is a city with a cultural mix of people and languages from the Mediterranean and Central Europe, ancient and contemporary.
